The biggest, most powerful Halverson firewood processor attachment yet delivers commercial-grade production with the mobility and versatility of an attachment. If you're serious about processing firewood, this is the attachment you've been waiting for. ## Why the HWP-160 Is the Best Firewood Processor Attachment Yet Built to conquer the toughest jobs, the HWP-160 takes everything that made [our other processors](https://www.halversonwoodproducts.com/products/) successful and kicks it up several notches. More power, more automation, and more production capacity – all in a package that still mounts to your existing equipment. Discover the enhanced features: ### Automated Log Feeding No more manual feeding hassles. Tough feeder chains on the deck automatically move logs into the grab arm so you can process more wood with less effort. It's like a firewood processing assembly line attached to your machine! ### ENHANCED GRAB ARM TECHNOLOGY The grab arm with integrated roller and spikes grips even irregular logs and feeds them precisely where they need to go. This improvement means better control and fewer jams, even when processing gnarly, knotty logs that would challenge lesser equipment. ### PRECISION LENGTH CONTROL The built-in measuring device lets you set your cut length once and get consistent results every time. The HWP-160 delivers uniform pieces that stack better and burn more efficiently. It is capable of cutting logs up to 22" in diameter in 2-foot increments.  ### MULTI-WAY SPLITTING OPTIONS Choose from 4-way, 6-way, or 8-way hydraulic wedge configurations to match your production needs. Process everything from kindling to chunk wood with a single attachment. The right splitting configuration means less re-splitting and more finished product per hour. ### SERIOUS CUTTING POWER The 23" (82cm) Speedmax XL blade powers through larger logs faster than our previous models. This larger, more aggressive blade makes quick work of even hardwood logs, reducing cutting time and increasing overall productivity. ### SINGLE-OPERATOR EFFICIENCY Like all our processors, the HWP-160 is designed for one-person operation. From your equipment's cab, you can control the entire process – loading, cutting, and splitting – without additional manpower. Save on labor costs while maximizing output. ### American-Made Quality Like every Halverson product, the HWP-160 is built tough in Minnesota. We don't cut corners. We don't use cheap materials. We build equipment that works as hard as you do, day in and day out. ## HWP-160 Firewood Processor Uses ### ![250409_HWPNew160_2-3](https://info.halversonwoodproducts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/250409_HWPNew160_2-3.jpg?width=701&height=368&name=250409_HWPNew160_2-3.jpg) ### COMMERCIAL FIREWOOD PRODUCTION Turn logs into profit faster than ever. The HWP-160's commercial-grade capacity helps you fulfill larger orders and take on more customers without investing in expensive stationary equipment. ### LAND CLEARING OPERATIONS Instead of paying to haul away or chip timber, transform it into a valuable product. The mobility of the HWP-160 allows you to process material wherever your clearing operations take you. ### LARGE PROPERTY OWNERS Manage woodlots efficiently and produce enough firewood for personal use plus extra to sell. The HWP-160's production capacity means you can process a season's worth of firewood in a fraction of the time, turning a weekend chore into a profitable side business. ### FOREST MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS Process timber on-site without hauling logs to a stationary processor. Reduce transportation costs and environmental impact while maximizing the value of harvested timber. The HWP-160 lets you turn selective harvests into immediate income. ## Will the HWP-160 Work On Your Machine? The Halverson 160 firewood processor is built to be compatible with many common skid steer brands and other equipment that use the universal attachment plate. Your machine must have these basic compatibility requirements: | Weight | 2,347 lbs (1,065 kg) | | --- | --- | | Required Flow | 15.5-20 GPM | | Required Pressure | Minimum 2850 PSI | | Connections | Case drain, pressure, return, plus one electrical | | Compatibility | Larger skid steers, excavators, and loaders | Want to check out all the details?
